The Supportive Housing Program (SHP) is a federal program that provides grants to develop supportive housing and services that will enable homeless people to live as independently as possible. Program funds help homeless people live in a stable place, increase their skills or income, and gain more control over the decisions that affect their lives.
DCEA’s Technical Assistance Training Program can provide technical assistance to prospective applicants, recipients, or other providers of supportive housing or services for homeless persons, for supportive housing projects. The purpose of the assistance is to promote the development of supportive housing and supportive services as part of a continuum of care approach.
