The mission of the Technical Assistance & Training Program is to provide quality assistance to individuals, communities, and organizations engaged in community development activities.


About Douglas-Cherokee Economic Authority, Inc. (DCEA)

DCEA is a Community Action Agency that was organized in 1965 by the local government as a nonprofit corporation. It has grown to include programs throughout the states of Tennessee and Kentucky. The purpose of the agency is to help families living in poverty improve their level of living by overcoming the barriers that hinder self-sufficiency. DCEA is a sponsoring organization that encompasses more than 20 major programs, including the HUD Technical Assistance & Training Program.

Douglas-Cherokee Economic Authority, Inc. is an Intermediary Technical Assistance Provider for the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development
